01 / Controller
Who Is Responsible for Your Data
ACHILLES-DS LTD("Achilles-DS", "we", "us" or "our") is the controller for personal information it receives through this website and related communications.
Company registration: HE 465166
Registered office: 122 Agiou Georgiou, Lakatamia 2304, Nicosia, Cyprus
Privacy contact: info@achilles-ds.com
Website: https://www.achilles-ds.com/
This policy covers the website and communications initiated through it. Independently operated websites and services have their own privacy practices.
02 / Information
Information We Process
Contact and email communications
The contact form asks for your name, email address, optional organisation, enquiry type and message. Its intended flow validates these values in your browser and prepares an email draft in your own email application. The website does not send those values to an Achilles-DS form API or store them in an application database.
If JavaScript is unavailable, the form cannot complete its intended email-draft flow; please use the displayed email link. The form uses an explicit POST fallback so its fields are not placed in the page URL or query string.
If you send an email, Achilles-DS and the relevant email providers may process your sender identity, email address, message content, attachments and communication metadata.
Recruitment
If you apply for a role by emailing info@achilles-ds.com, Achilles-DS may receive your CV, cover letter, contact details, education, qualifications, employment history, attachments and other information you choose to provide. The website does not provide a file-upload facility or recruitment database.
Website and security data
Hosting and network infrastructure processes information needed to deliver and protect the website. Depending on the request and provider configuration, this may include IP address, browser and device information, operating system, requested URL, referrer where transmitted, timestamps, response information and diagnostic or security logs. The application does not use this information to profile visitors.
Public LinkedIn content
The server retrieves recent public posts from the official Achilles-DS Company Page. Retrieved data may include post IDs, public commentary, names appearing in that commentary, publication dates and content or media-type metadata. This does not involve retrieving a website visitor's LinkedIn account or profile information.
03 / Purposes and legal bases
Why We Process Information
- Website delivery, reliability and security. Where GDPR applies, this is generally based on legitimate interests in operating a reliable website, diagnosing faults and preventing misuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Enquiries and business communications. We use communications to respond and keep appropriate business records. Depending on the context, the basis may be legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) or steps requested before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Recruitment. We use application information to assess candidates and administer recruitment. The applicable basis may include steps requested before an employment contract and legitimate interests in recruitment administration. The precise basis can depend on the role, recruitment stage and applicable employment requirements.
- Official company news. Public LinkedIn content is retrieved and displayed based on legitimate interests in communicating Achilles-DS activities through its corporate website (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligations and claims. Information may be processed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
04 / Browser technologies
Cookies and Browser Storage
The current website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, authentication or preferences. Its application code does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. No cookie banner is shown because the current implementation does not use non-essential cookies or comparable storage that requires a consent choice.
Your browser may independently retain history, autofill or accessibility preferences. Those browser features are not set by Achilles-DS. If the website begins using cookies or similar technologies, this policy and any required choices will be reviewed before deployment.
05 / Analytics
Analytics and Tracking
Achilles-DS does not currently deploy Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, advertising pixels or a behavioural profiling service on this website. Interface code may use viewport size and scroll position in memory to render responsive layouts and animations; the application does not transmit that information to Achilles-DS.
06 / Providers and platforms
Who May Receive Information
- Vercel. Vercel provides the current website hosting and processes network, request, diagnostic and security information to deliver that service. Vercel Web Analytics is not integrated. See the Vercel Privacy Notice.
- Email providers. The achilles-ds.com email domain is currently routed through Microsoft-hosted mail infrastructure. A message is also processed by the sender's email provider and may pass through security or delivery services. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- LinkedIn.LinkedIn supplies public Company Page posts to the Achilles-DS server. LinkedIn does not receive a visitor's browser request merely because the visitor opens the News page. If a visitor intentionally follows a LinkedIn link, LinkedIn operates the destination service under its own privacy practices. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
Relevant information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, courts, regulators or public authorities where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security or the protection of rights. The website contains no advertising or data-broker functionality.
07 / LinkedIn News
Server-Side LinkedIn Integration
The News integration runs on the Achilles-DS server. It uses LinkedIn's Posts API to retrieve official public Company Page content, normalises selected text and dates, and serves the result as part of the Achilles-DS page. Recent results are cached server-side and become eligible for revalidation after about 30 minutes. This cache period does not control how long the original post remains available on LinkedIn.
Opening the News page does not load a LinkedIn SDK, iframe, Insight Tag, tracking script or remote LinkedIn media, and it does not expose the LinkedIn API credential to the browser. Clicking "View on LinkedIn" leaves this website and sends a request to LinkedIn in the ordinary way.
08 / International processing
International Transfers
Hosting, email and external-platform providers may process information in more than one country. Processing locations and safeguards depend on the relevant service and Achilles-DS account configuration. Where GDPR restrictions on international transfers apply, Achilles-DS must use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information relevant to your personal data.
09 / Retention
How Long Information Is Kept
Enquiry, recruitment and related business correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, an ongoing relationship, dispute handling and applicable legal or record-keeping obligations. No single fixed period applies to every communication. Hosting and email providers retain information under their services and applicable settings. Achilles-DS does not maintain a contact-form submission database. The separate LinkedIn News cache is described above.
10 / Your rights
Data Protection Rights
Subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights to request access, rectification, erasure or restriction; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive data you provided in a portable format where applicable; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights are not unconditional, and lawful exceptions may apply.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, the supervisory authority in Cyprus. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a rights request.
11 / Safeguards
Security
Achilles-DS uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration, and relies on its providers to protect their respective services. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, so please avoid sending information unnecessary for your enquiry or application.
12 / Children
Children's Information
This corporate and technical website is not designed to solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through a website-related communication, contact us so that we can assess the circumstances.
13 / External links
Other Websites
Following an external link takes you to an independently operated service. That service receives the resulting request and may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Achilles-DS does not control those practices, so review the privacy information of the destination service.
14 / Updates and contact
